High Definition (HD) CCTV systems allow the delivery of more detailed images than ever before. Specifically, in terms of the quality of images which can now be provided, and crucially, the potential to accurately identify suspects and achieve successful convictions.
Our megapixel HD cameras have up to 80 times the resolution of a conventional analogue camera. This means the user has situational awareness and facial recognition/ identification of incidents in a much wider area.
When considering true HD CCTV technology it is important to remember that the cameras are just a small part of the equation. In order to Store, Transmit, playback, search and export High Definition images you will need an end to end HD solution.
Integration of existing analogue cameras through our encoders is a very cost effective way of maximising and improving existing resources. Because we will be recording existing cameras losslessly the image quality in playback will be significantly better quality than any lossy solution (all other DVRs) in any existing installation. Basically this means we improve the quality and effectiveness of all existing cameras.
Our HD CCTV Control Centre utilises our proprietary High Definition Stream Management (HDSM) which offers network transmission at the highest image quality and highest frame rates but at the lowest bandwidth.
A typical HD CCTV system architecture would be cameras > switch > dedicated server (recorder) > network > viewing workstation.
Multiple servers can be viewed simultaneously from multiple client positions making the system unlimited in size. HDSM allows users to view images on any connected device - network computers, wireless laptops, smartphones, iPads without ever effecting the recording quality.
We offer the widest range of Multi-megapixel cameras available from 1 through to 29 megapixels. Our HD CCTV will capture images offering the widest parameter of image manipulation on the market. This means that faces can be extracted from shaded areas and number plates read through glare for instance. Using encoders we are able to create a hybrid solution adding any new or existing analogue static or PTZ cameras to the control platform offering improved lossless recording and cost effective multiple control positions.
Our HD CCTV Control Centre offers an unlimited and flexible upgrade path. Once purchased the software has no annual licence fee and has software upgrades free of charge for the lifetime of the product. Additional cameras and servers can easily be added and there are no limits to the number of cameras, servers or client connections that can be added to a system.
We also have a series of software ‘modules’ (which can be added retrospectively) increasing the scope and versatility of the system and by making cameras multifunctional reduces the overall cost. Current modules include HD ANPR number plate recognition allowing multiple lanes of ANPR with a single camera, and Point of Sale integration making video searchable by specific POS events such as Void sales, Vodka, sales above £50.00 and under £1.00 etc.
